Simple Moments of Motherhood

I had a surreal moment this morning.  I was standing at the kitchen sink and a moment of motherhood washed over me.  I was up early, dressed, dropped Isaac off at school, and while Julian was napping I was cleaning up.  I swept the floors, put toys away, unloaded and loaded the dishwasher.  The routine of the morning just made me smile and I felt like a mama.   I felt like I was where I was meant to be.   It made me smile.  A very happy moment.

Julian is growing up way to fast!

This afternoon Isaac got comfortable and we made some freezer cookies!

I love spending time with Isaac in the kitchen!
