Halloween: Trick-or-Treat

Frazer and I hadn't planned to dress up for Halloween this year.  However, little did I know that Grandma had been sneaky and bought a witch hat for me to wear.  Well, I didn't want to be a spoil sport so I dug through the closet to see what I could come up with and played around with some make-up and turned myself into a witch.  :)

Frazer decided to get in on the fun too and pulled out his 60s attire.

We were all prepared for the trick-or-treaters to come and set everything up out on the front porch.

Isaac was very amused by mommy's green lips.

Our little Tigger was all ready for the fun too.  He was a good sport keeping Grandma and Grandpa company while they passed out candy for us.

Isaac couldn't wait to eat his lollipop and wasn't interested in putting it in his bucket to save for later.

Isaac loved all of the Halloween decorations.

He even gave our neighbors friendly ghost a hug.

After a long night of trick-or-treating both boys were worn out.

Trick-or-treating was so much fun this year and it was absolutely wonderful having Frazer's parents with us.  Since they were able to pass out candy for us, Frazer and I both were able to take Isaac trick-or-treating.  It was Frazer's first time too!  It was a ghostly good time. ;)

Halloween Fun

Our Halloween festivities started early in the day with a playdate at Ms. Winnie's.  Julian wanted to participate in the fun too so he was the perfect little pumpkin.

While Isaac was prepared to launch into space that didn't stop him from playing with all of the toys and other kiddos.  Isaac found a little tea pot to play with and it's as if he knew just what to do, prepare the perfect cup of tea for Grandma.

After Isaac's nap he enjoyed some wonderful stories while cuddling up with Grandma.

Then they ventured outside for a little more fun.  Isaac loved having a buddy to swing with.

Isaac got to show off his climbing skills too.

Grandma even found the perfect hat for trick-or-treat.

It was a fun day with so many activities to keep us busy before venturing out for trick-or-treat.  :)

Pre Halloween Fun at the Park

Last year we ventured to the park for some pre-Halloween fun and this year Grandma and Grandpa Middleton were able to join in on the fun!

Our little astronaut was full of giggles as he played on the slide and made new friends.  He really enjoyed having Grandma and Grandpa at the park.

All the kiddos were so adorable in their costumes.  Isaac and his buddy Lennon sat down to share some snacks in between play time.

These two are so precious together.

Silly kiddos.  (Isaac, Nicco, Carter & Ansley)

The gentlemen that he is gave Lennon a little kiss.

Julian had some pumpkin fun too for his very first Halloween.

It was absolutely wonderful to have Grandma and Grandpa with us at the park.

It was a fun afternoon for sure!

Isaac & Norah

Lori came to my rescue today and came up to watch Isaac while I snuck out for a doctors appointment.  While I was gone Isaac and Norah hung out together with their snacks, watched cartoons and played with all the toys.

I'm not sure if Isaac gave Norah any tips or advice as she's expecting a baby sister soon.  Isaac won't be the only one with a little sibling for long.

These two are so adorable!

A Cold Birthday Party

The weather took a turn and produced a cold snap but that didn't stop us from attending little Charlotte & Norah's birthday party.  We simply bundled up and ventured out.

Frazer helped Isaac decorate a pumpkin.

The outdoor petting zoo was a hit for all the kiddos.  However, Isaac likes to look at animals from a distance but he wasn't interested in getting too close.

He really enjoyed drawing on his pumpkin.

Julian didn't want to miss out on the fun either.  He was all bundled up and enjoyed looking around and soaked up the extra attention.

And of course Isaac loves time spent with papa.

It was a wonderful way to spend the morning.

Isaac & Julian

Little Julian is becoming more and more active and kicking up a storm.  He's got quite a kick too!

While Nana and Grandpa were visiting Isaac helped Nana make some chocolate chip cookies.

While Isaac was occupied in the kitchen I seized the moment to trim the hedges by the side walk and put up our spooky cobwebs in preparation for Halloween.

Julian got lots of cuddles too.

Cuddles with Nana

Nana came for a visit and of course cuddled with both the boys.

We ventured out the the mall for a bit and Nana took Isaac for a ride on the train.

And Grandpa spoiled Isaac with a cookie.

Play at Betsy's

We managed to venture out of the house today for some outdoor fun at Betsy's.  Isaac had a ball playing in the sand box and pushing the wheel barrow.

Julian enjoyed the fresh air and cuddles from the other mommies.

Julian was a bit upset on the drive home and Isaac simply doesn't know what to do when his little brother cries so he covers his ears until the noise stops.

He cracks me up!

Snuggles with my Boys

I absolutely love that I've been blessed to stay home with both my boys.  When Isaac happens to wake up after papa has left for work he loves to climb into our bed and snuggle under the covers on papa's side with papa's pillow.  He climbs in and watches cartoons while I feed Julian.  It's such a great way to start the day.

Tractor Fun

I love capturing pictures of Isaac being silly and having fun. We had a low key afternoon and spent some time on the porch.  Isaac loved playing with his tractor while I cuddled Julian on the glider.

I'll never get enough of Isaac's smile!
