Beach Time

After breakfast it was time to get ready to go the beach!  The great thing about Destin is the clear water and soft powdery sand.  It's wonderful.  I absolutely love listening to the sounds of the crashing waves and smelling the fresh salt water in the air.

Isaac could barely contain his excitement looking out the windows while getting ready and slathering on sun screen.

Isaac made his way down to the beach with Nana while I finished feeding Julian.  Clearly he was on a mission and ready to play in the huge sand box!

He loved dipping his toes in the water too.

Julian made his first beach debut as well.

He didn't seem to mind it to much…as long as we were in the shade.

When it was too hot it was time to come in, grab some snacks and get ready for a nice long nap.  It was a great first day at the beach for all of us.  Isaac's day was topped off by a bedtime story with Grandpa, The Lorax.
