We had a busy day full of errands so we decided to pop into North Point Mall for some lunch and a little fun. Right away Isaac noticed a melody of music and while looking around the bright colors and fun lights caught his attention. He spotted the Carousel!
While we were waiting in line he was mesmerized. He kept pointing at all the fun items that kept passing as it spun around. When it was our turn we spotted the perfect giraffe to ride. Before the ride started he had a chance to check out the giraffe and "pet" it. Isaac was great a holding on when the ride started but when his giraffe started to slowly raise up and he realized he was getting further up his grew as large as saucers. When the giraffe started to lower back down he seemed a bit puzzled. At that point his grip became a bit tighter and I held on to him to make sure he felt snug and secure. After a couple of full circles around I must admit it was a strange sensation and even I felt a bit dizzy and about the same time Isaac started reaching and wanted off the giraffe.
No worries. I scooped him up and we moved up one row to a stationary horse. That seemed to have more appeal at least for a couple more spins and then he preferred to be held for the remainder of the ride. While the spinning sensation was new he certainly enjoyed the lights, music and array of bright colors. We'll have to come visit again.
