Waffle Day

We've kinda started a weekend routine with waffles.  Usually it's waffle Sunday but this weekend it was Saturday.  Papa makes excellent waffles and of course he can't do it alone.  He has a fabulous sous chef, Isaac.

Isaac knows where everything is kept in the kitchen.  He knows which mixer and part to get out.  And he helped get the waffle maker out and set up too.  He loves to help measure out all of the ingredients and mix up the batter with Papa.

His favorite part is tasting the final product.  For me, it's seeing my boys in the kitchen together.  Isaac is such a sweet boy and he loves to help.  These are the little moments that just melt my heart.  I love our little family and the memories we're making together.
