He also had a very special smash cake that was just for him.
Julian had lots of helpers standing by in case he needed assistance blowing out his candles for the first time.
When it came time for the smash cake Julian was a bit skeptical at first but he caught on fast!
As soon as he put his fingers in the cake to test the waters and tasted the sweetness he didn't skip a beat before diving in for more.
As soon as both hands went into the cake he started scooping up handfuls and shoveled them into his mouth.
He had a blast.....and made a mess but he had so much fun. It was very entertaining to watch too. By the time he was finished with his cake he had blue icing all over his shirt, and in his hair. It was basically everywhere! At least I was prepared with a change of clothes and a beach towel to clean him up in the bathroom before leaving. :)
All the kiddos enjoyed the cupcakes too!
