Cookout Fun

Isaac started his day off with a nutritious breakfast to make sure he was energized for the day!  This kid loves bananas.  I have a hard time explaining to him while we're grocery shopping that he has to wait until we get home to eat the bananas.  :)

We had a great day with some friends for an impromptu cookout and kids got to run around and play.  I  made sure Isaac was lathered up in sunscreen before we left since I knew he would be playing in the sprinklers.  However, I used a new sunscreen stick on his face and from the time we left our house to the time of arrival, all of 5 miles, Isaac's face was all broken out in a rash.  He had managed to wipe his hands all over his face, had sunscreen in his eyes and was just miserable.  I washed his face as soon as we got there and within minutes the rash faded.  Needless to say we won't be using face sticks anymore.

Isaac's found one of his favorite snacks....watermelon to munch on.

He figured out how to make the jeep go.

Played with all sorts of toys and then wanted to carry the guitar around all on his own.  We had a wonderful afternoon and Isaac was all worn out and in melt down mode which was the key indicator it was time to leave for nap time.  We were half way home and I looked back to find Isaac sound asleep!

Always a priceless indicator that he had a great time!
