Boys & The Beach

Today was the last day at the beach for the boys too.  I think it's safe to say they had a great time with nana and grandpa.  Apparently both boys even asked for pajamas and naps they were so worn out.

Hawaiian Souvenir

I had the best time yesterday floating in the ocean but unfortunately I lost track of time.  For over two hours I played in the water and wow am I paying for it dearly today!

I had sunscreen on but apparently not enough and not applied frequently enough.  Ouch!  I guess this will be my Hawaiian souvenir in addition to the quarter sized welt on my backside compliments of a nibbling fish yesterday.  Needless to say I slathered on SPF 50 the rest of the day.

I also decided to spend the majority of the day in the shade by the pool.  One of the benefits of pool side is table service!  My new favorite drink is a Mango Daiquiri.  It was virgin but that didn't matter. Talk about delicious!! Yum!

Floating Fun

Ahhhhh.  Another day together....alone....at the beach.  It doesn't get much better than this.

Today I really wanted to do nothing but float in the water.  Hubby was kind enough to blow up the float for me too. 

I spent hours just floating around in the water.  It's simply one of my favorite things to do.  I was in heaven today.  The water was calm and so refreshing.  I literally could have stayed in the water all day!

Even when it's time to call it a day at the beach the view from the room is still amazing.

Waikiki Time

Our day started with another leisurely breakfast enjoying this beautiful view followed by a relaxing day on the beach.

This afternoon we ventured into Waikiki for a little shopping and an early dinner.  Along our walk we encountered a praying mantis.

Sunset

We both spent the day relaxing on the beach in the cabana again.  I did spend a little time at the pool but mostly at the beach.  It was wonderful spending the time reading a book.  I actually finished reading Gone Girl and it was a great book.  It was just nice to slip away in a story.  Another day in paradise was topped off with a beautiful sunset.
