Once we were all unloaded it didn't take long for the boys to head outside. Grandpa enjoyed pulling the wagon for Julian as much as Julian enjoyed riding in the wagon.
Then Nana and Grandpa worked with Julian on standing up.
Julian got lots of cuddles from grandpa.
Grandpa's birthday was yesterday and I knew we would be helping him celebrate this evening. Before we left Isaac wanted to sign Grandpa's birthday card. He signed the card with the love and drew a special picture too.
For dinner Isaac got to experience Bob Gibson's Barbecue for the first time. Grandpa taught him how to eat ribs and Isaac was a fan.
Julian was a fan too!
Isaac helped Nana pick out a special cake for Grandpa too.
Dad said it had been many years since he had a cake decorated with lego candles and construction trucks. :)
Of course Isaac had to help Grandpa blow out his candles.
By the end of the day all of us were worn out from all the fun. Isaac climbed up in Nana's lap and didn't last long before he was passed out and ready for bed.
