Catch Air

We've been in Alpharetta now almost two months and while there will always be projects to complete around the house it's time for Isaac and I to start venturing out more.  I joined a mom's group in the area and started adding activities to our calendar this week.  We had one outing Monday morning for story time but today we went to a place in Johns Creek called Catch Air.

I'm driving the bus!

Isaac had a ball! At first he looked a bit overwhelmed with where to go and what to do.  We walked around first so he could see all the different activities and then he went for it.

He played on the giant sit-and-spin.  He wouldn't actually get on it but he sure did enjoy spinning it with his hands.

Isaac experienced a ball pit for the first time.  He sat in there for a bit just staring at all the balls almost in a state of disbelief that so many balls could exist in one place.  Once his shock wore off he started to pick them up and play a bit.

Then he played in the school bus! Isaac loved the steering wheel the most and the gear shift.  This little bus had activities all the way around it which kept him very busy for a while.  He played with the bus several times during our visit.

He played with the giant swinging palm tree too.  And then we played peek-a-boo in the bouncy castle.

We had a great time and Isaac played well with the other little ones that were there too.  After a little over an hour he was one worn out little boy.  He wanted to be picked up and was an instant sack of potato's.  Dead weight, tired eyes followed by big yawns meant it was time to go.

I thought for sure he would pass out in the car on the way home and he certainly tried.  I put him down for a nap when we got home and he was only down for about 30 minutes or so but I'm not sure there was a lot of sleeping going on.  He was fussy and miserable.  This was one over stimulated, over tired little boy.  I think we need to build some stamina.  Good thing we have another activity planned for tomorrow!
